The Onengiye Elekima Foundation is a Nigerian non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to sports development, youth empowerment, humanitarian services, conflict resolution, skills training and acquisition, and cultural collaboration. Our core belief is that lasting change begins at the grassroots, by empowering young people, strengthening communities, and fostering peaceful coexistence.

To promote youth development, foster peace, and empower communities by creating sustainable opportunities and building strategic partnerships with local and international organizations, governments, and the general public.

Our Vision

Provide platforms for young Nigerians to express their talents, build self-confidence, and acquire essential life and vocational skills through mentorship, training programs, and community-based initiatives.

Promote National Unity through Sports and Culture: Organize inclusive events and competitions that bring together youth and teams from all 774 local government areas, using sports and cultural exchange as tools for peacebuilding and national integration. Facilitate Skills Acquisition & Conflict Resolution: Equip individuals, especially youths and women, with practical skills for entrepreneurship and self-reliance, while offering mediation and peace education programs to prevent violence and resolve community disputes. Create Enduring Impact: Establish a legacy of empowerment, talent discovery, and national pride by nurturing the potential of future leaders, athletes, and innovators. Engage and Inspire Through Visibility: Offer partners and sponsors meaningful visibility through media coverage, branded event materials, and high-impact digital campaigns that celebrate their role in social transformation.

Our Services
